By continuing to use them, you agree to follow them. ## Legal notice and acceptance ### Site owner In compliance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), we inform you that the website **wattiot.io** (the "Site") is owned by: - **Registered name:** [registered name pending] ("wattiot", "we", "us"). - **Tax ID:** [tax ID pending]. - **Registered address:** [registered address pending]. - **Email:** [hello@wattiot.io](mailto:hello@wattiot.io). ### Acceptance These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Site. In force from 22 August 2026. By browsing the Site or using any of its features you accept the Terms in your own name and, if you act for a company or organisation, on its behalf, declaring that you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is aimed at industrial professionals and businesses; you must be of legal age to use it. The [Privacy and cookie policy](https://wattiot.io/en/privacy) forms part of these Terms and describes what data we process when you use the Site. Where the two texts conflict on personal data, the Privacy policy prevails. ### Scope The Terms apply to wattiot.io and to the pages on that domain that link to them. They do not govern the wattiot platform — account access at https://app.wattiot.io/login and the trial environment demo.wattiot.io — whose use is governed by the service contract signed with each customer and, where applicable, by the trial conditions. The status page (status.wattiot.io) is independent infrastructure with its own conditions. ### Changes to the Terms We may amend the Terms to reflect changes to the Site, to our services or to the law. The version in force is the one published here, with its date in the section above; substantial changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a new version is published means accepting it. ## Use of the Site ### Licence to use We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable licence to access the Site and use its content in order to inform yourself about wattiot and evaluate our services, including internal use within your organisation (sharing a page, or printing it for a meeting, for example). Everything not expressly granted is reserved. ### Prohibited uses In using the Site you undertake not to: - Use it for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes third-party rights. - Interfere with its operation or overload it: denial-of-service attacks, mass requests or automation that degrades the service. - Circumvent its security measures, or access non-public parts or the keys and systems behind its features. - Copy, reproduce or reuse its content to build a product, service or dataset that competes with wattiot, or to resell it. - Submit false information through the forms, impersonate another person or company, or use them to send unsolicited messages. - Manipulate the Site assistant into acting outside its purpose, attempt to extract its instructions, or use it in an automated way. - Introduce malicious code or remove the intellectual property notices from the content. ### Agents and automated access The Site is designed for machine readers too: it publishes [robots.txt](https://wattiot.io/en/robots.txt), [llms.txt](https://wattiot.io/en/llms.txt), [agents.md](https://wattiot.io/en/agents.md) and a markdown version of every page (`Accept: text/markdown` header). Crawlers, assistants and agents may read the public content to index it, quote it or answer questions about wattiot, respecting robots.txt, at a reasonable rate and citing the source page. The `/api/*` routes exist for the Site’s own interface: calling them in an automated way, sending demo requests that are not genuine, or using the assistant as a service for third parties is not permitted. ### Demo requests and communications Submitting the form or booking a slot in the calendar is a request, not a contract: we will get in touch to arrange the session and may decline it if it does not fit our services. The response times shown on the Site are indicative. We will only send you commercial messages with your consent or in the context of an existing relationship, and you may object at any time by replying to the email or writing to [hello@wattiot.io](mailto:hello@wattiot.io). The information you give us must be truthful and relate to you or to the organisation you represent. ### Site assistant The assistant generates its answers with a language model from a knowledge base about wattiot. It is informational help: it may contain errors or inaccuracies, it is not an offer, a quotation or a contractual commitment, and it does not replace technical, legal or commercial advice from our team. Check anything material with us before making decisions. Do not enter confidential information, third-party data or special categories of data into the chat. We may limit, change or withdraw the assistant at any time. ### Platform accounts The Site has no user registration. Platform access credentials are issued under the service contract, and whoever receives them is responsible for keeping them secret and for the activity carried out with them; if you suspect unauthorised access, tell us immediately at [hello@wattiot.io](mailto:hello@wattiot.io). The conditions of use of the platform, including its availability and security commitments, are those of that contract. ## Content and intellectual property ### Ownership of the content The text, images, video, diagrams, design, code and other elements of the Site are the property of wattiot or its licensors and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. The Site incorporates third-party components under their own licences — typefaces and open-source libraries, among others — whose notices are preserved; those licences prevail over these Terms in respect of such components. No use of the Site transfers rights over its content to you beyond the licence described above. ### Trade marks "wattiot" and its logos are trade marks of wattiot. They may not be used without our written authorisation, except to refer to us descriptively and truthfully. wattiot is an independent brand with no connection to WattIQ (wattiq.io) or IoTWatt (iotwatt.io). ### Product information The information on the Site describes the wattiot platform in general terms and may change without notice: features, supported protocols, prices, plans and availability are settled in the commercial proposal and the service contract, which prevail over what is published here. Performance or savings figures are illustrative examples and depend on each installation. ### Suggestions If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about the Site or about wattiot, we may use them freely and without payment, for any purpose and without any obligation to attribute them. Please do not send information you consider confidential by this route. ### Links and third-party content The Site links to third-party services and embeds some — the Cal.com booking calendar, the status page, social media profiles. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices; their use is governed by each one’s conditions. You may link to pages on the Site provided you do not suggest a relationship or endorsement that does not exist, and do not present its content inside another site’s frames. ## Liability ### Availability of the Site The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change it, suspend it or withdraw any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and we assume no maintenance or support obligation in respect of the Site. Availability commitments for the wattiot platform are exclusively those of the service contract. ### Disclaimer of warranties To the extent the law permits, we do not warrant that the Site will be free of errors or interruptions, that it will be secure or free of viruses or other harmful components, nor the accuracy, completeness or currency of its content, which is purely informational and does not constitute professional advice. ### Limitation of liability To the extent the law permits, we will not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data or business, or the cost of substitute products arising from use of the Site or the inability to use it. Access to the Site is free of charge; for that reason, and again to the extent the law permits, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed 100 euros. None of the above excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the law, such as liability arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence, personal injury, or the rights that consumer law grants to anyone qualifying as a consumer. ### Indemnity If you breach these Terms or the law in using the Site and that gives rise to third-party claims against wattiot, you will be liable for the reasonable damages, costs and expenses — including legal defence costs — arising from it. If you are a consumer, this obligation applies only to the extent the law permits. ### Suspension of access We may restrict or block access to the Site, to its forms or to the assistant for anyone who breaches these Terms or puts the service at risk, without notice and without liability for doing so. Clauses that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, liability, governing law — will remain in force. ## Governing law and contact ### Governing law These Terms are governed by the law of España and, where applicable, by European Union law. ### Jurisdiction If you act as a business or professional, any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be submitted to the courts of [city of the courts pending], waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your domicile and, in addition, to the alternative consumer dispute resolution mechanisms available in your country. Before taking any action, we invite you to write to us: most questions are settled in a conversation. ### General provisions - **Entire agreement.** These Terms, together with the Privacy and cookie policy, constitute the entire agreement on the use of the Site. - **Severability.** If any clause is declared void, it will be replaced by a valid one as close as possible to it, and the rest will remain in force. - **No waiver.** Our not exercising a right at a given moment does not mean waiving it. - **Assignment.** You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in the context of a corporate transaction. - **Communications.** You agree to receive communications from us by electronic means (email or notices on the Site), which count as communication in writing. - **Language.** The Terms are drafted in Spanish; where any translation differs from it, the Spanish version prevails. ### Accessibility We want anyone to be able to use the Site, and we work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
